SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a safe,
engaging and supportive learning experience that enables every
pupil to thrive academically, socially and

ResponsibilitiesTeach
and support pupils with a range of special educational needs,
including autism, learning difficulties and complex
needs.Plan and deliver engaging, accessible
lessons that support both academic progress and personal
development.Use a range of creative teaching
strategies and resources to meet diverse learning styles and
needs.Adapt teaching in line with EHCP
outcomes, individual targets and developmental
stages.Monitor, assess and record pupil
progress, recognising achievement in all areas of
development.Support the development of
communication, independence, emotional regulation and life
skills.Work collaboratively with a
multidisciplinary team to provide consistent, high-quality
support.Make effective use of specialist
facilities and resources to enhance learning
experiences.Build strong, positive
relationships with pupils, families and carers to support each
child’s learning

who have a primary need of Autism Spectrum, communication and
