Competitive pay: £15 per hour plus enhanced rates for weekends, public holidays and nights A values driven charity with a genuine commitment to quality care A supportive, collaborative environment where your leadership matters Opportunities for professional development, mentoring, and progression The chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people The Role Lead & Inspire Motivate, mentor, and support Care Assistants to deliver outstanding, person centred care Act as a role model, supporting new staff through induction and ongoing coaching Conduct supervisions, performance reviews, and wellbeing conversations to nurture a positive team culture Deliver Exceptional Care Provide compassionate personal care that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence Safely administer medication (once competent), ensuring adherence to clinical standards Support residents during illness or end of life care, working closely with families and professionals Ensure Safe & Effective Practice Assess, plan, implement, and review personalised care plans Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet CQC and safeguarding requirements Oversee shift handovers, staff allocation, and daily care delivery Contribute to audits, quality checks, and incident reporting Enhance Resident Wellbeing Work with wellbeing colleagues to create meaningful activities and engagement opportunities Build trusting relationships with residents and their families Champion a positive, stimulating environment where every resident feels valued About You Essential Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care Experience supervising or leading care staff in a residential or nursing setting Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards, and person centred care Competence in administering medication Skilled care planning and familiarity with digital care systems/e‑MAR Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and effective in an unpredictable care environment Desirable CHAPs or equivalent Experience working with people living with dementia Knowledge of end of life care Experience using NEWS/RESTORE tools Our Values We’re looking for people who are: Compassionate, respectful, positive, professional, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
