Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Needed in Middleton
1. Location: Middleton
2. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (42.5 hours per week)
3. Salary: Up to £40,000 basic with OTE up to £44,780, dependent on experience
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading automotive dealer groups, now looking for a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to strengthen their aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician to join a supportive, well-structured workshop environment with strong manufacturer backing and clear progression routes.
Key Responsibilities for a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
4. Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical faults
5. Using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical data
6. Completing repairs to manufacturer standards
7. Supporting workshop efficiency and quality control
8. Contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction and team development
What We’re Looking For in a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
9. Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
10. Minimum of 3 years’ workshop experience
11. Strong diagnostic ability with pride in workmanship
12. Ability to work well within a busy team environment
13. Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
