About the Role:

The role is office based, so you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.
AsPlanning Coordinatoryou’ll be working:
Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 with regular requirements to cover Twilight hours on a Friday, hours and rota can be discussed at interview.
What will your key responsibilities as Planning Coordinator include?
1. Ensure production plans are prepared, updated and communicated in a timely manner.
2. Provide support on planning raw material movement between the Avara sites.
3. Assist production schedulers in answering calls and completing administrative tasks.
4. Deputise for Production Planner.
5. Provide holiday cover for different roles within the planning department, which may involve working shifts, weekends, and supporting other sites.
6. Frequently review stocks of finished goods and compare against upcoming orders.
7. Short-term material management and utilisation including WIP management.
8. Understanding of business requirements and ability to be flexible around the site operations.
9. A logical thinker with good numerical and analytical skills.
10. Ability to solve problems proactively.
11. Ability to maintain and update excel spreadsheets.
12. Good IT standards and basic knowledge of MS package.
* £25,000 to £29,000 DOEper annum
