Job Description
* JOB TITLE: Maintenance Controller
* SALARY: £35,340
* LOCATION(S): Watford
* HOURS: Full-time
* WORKING PATTERN: For the first 6 months, in-office for 5 days a week, then move to a hybrid model, spending at least three days per week at the Watford office site.

Have you worked within the motor industry in a service delivery role or have a mechanical background? If so, this could be the role for you. As a Maintenance Controller, you'll coordinate vehicle repairers and suppliers to ensure a cost-effective process and a great customer experience.

What You’ll Need
* Extensive knowledge of motor vehicle repair and maintenance, including electric vehicles.
* Experience in a manufacturer’s franchised dealership in workshop and service desk environments.
* Strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Experience in cost approval and audit functions in a leasing or similar organization.
Useful Experience
* First point resolution for vehicle-related issues.
* Managing calls, worksheets, downtime cases, and approvals efficiently.
* Managing, approving, and auditing SMR and Tyre requests per policy.
* Ensuring transactions are approved at the lowest cost.
