Full Time – 37 hours

Grade 4 - SCP 13 - 16

£29,064 - £30,518

Castle Point Borough Council is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Housing Options Business Support Officer to deliver a resident focussed, data led, performance driven service.

You will be supporting our Housing Options team through providing a high level of efficient and effective administrative, technical and customer-focused support. This role ensures the smooth operation of housing services, supports strategic initiatives and helps maintain high standards of service delivery.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

1. Being responsible for data management – Collecting, analysing and reporting on data related to housing options services.
2. Acting as the first point of contact for the Housing Options Service by addressing resident queries and providing excellent customer service.
3. Maintaining performance management frameworks.
4. Organising and supporting events relating to Housing Options services, such as tenant forums, community events and team meetings.

We are looking for candidates who are able to:

5. Communicate effectively with a broad range of people and record, collate and relay accurate and concise information.
6. Who can act with integrity, take responsibility and manage stress effectively while maintaining high levels of motivation to support the work of the service to achieve successful outcomes for residents.
7. Who are able to work proactively and flexibly and know when to take instructions or use your own initiative to meet deadlines and solve problems that will face you on a day-to-day basis
