Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Hotel General Manager with daily operations to achieve high service standards and guest satisfaction
* Supervising and guiding Heads of Departments to ensure smooth service delivery, providing leadership and training to meet business goals
* Managing business aspects such as controlling costs, wages, and margins to meet budget targets
* Implementing effective succession planning and mentoring team members
* Covering duty management shifts in the absence of other Heads of Departments or Guest Service Managers
* Recruiting, engaging, and retaining staff through performance management and administrative duties in line with company policies
* Deputising for the General Manager as required
Candidate requirements:
* Management experience as Deputy Hotel Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar role, preferably in a branded hotel environment, with strong Front Office knowledge. Guest Service Managers from full-service hotels may also be considered.
* Experience in delivering and maintaining training records is essential
* Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, approachable, with strong rapport-building skills and team motivation under pressure
* Excellent communication skills, good organizational and administrative abilities, and attention to detail
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
