Job Description
We are working with a Northallerton-based business who are looking to appoint an Accounts Generalist on a part-time basis to join them on a 12-month contract. This would be circa. 20 hours per week.
You will ideally have a variety of experience across accounts and be confident in your ability to supervise and support the wider finance team.
Responsibilities include:
* Produce routine reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
* Support reporting and information for key stakeholders
* Credit control, including chasing and collecting monies due from customers
* Other ad-hoc work as required to support the Finance function.
* New customer set up and review of credit terms
* Producing Customer invoices and credit notes
* Be a point of contact for any finance queries
You will have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* AAT or Accounting degree qualification – preferred
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other computer systems and databases
* Ability to use initiative to organise themselves and others to ensure deadlines are met
* A flexible team player with the ability to work proactively
