If you thrive in a fast-paced, large-scale events environment and take pride in high standards, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and professional team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting the BOH Manager and senior chefs, ensuring all Back of House kitchens are kept clean, organised, safe and fully stocked for each event.You’ll be working across a dynamic, large-scale venue hosting multiple events simultaneously, including matchdays and conferences & events. You will report directly to the BOH Manager, with an additional reporting line to the Executive Chef. What You'll Do: Follow instructions from the BOH Manager and Senior Chefs Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across all BOH and kitchen areas Ensure kitchens and storage areas are organised and well stocked Remove kitchen waste and recycling, disposing of it correctly Adhere strictly to Food Safety, Health & Safety and Sodexo systems at all times Support operations during matchdays and large-scale events What You Bring: Previous experience in kitchen portering or a similar BOH role Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative Resilient, positive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment A team player who builds strong working relationships with both permanent and temporary staff What we offer: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.You’ll belong in a company and team that values you for you; you’ll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and you’ll be able to thrive in your own way.In addition, we also offer a range of resources, rewards and benefits for our colleagues and their families: Unlimited access to an online platform offering mental health and wellbeing support.
