This purpose‑built care home offers general or dementia residential and nursing care for older people.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a service experience that fits within our family vision and values, embodying compassion, empathy and transparency in our service delivery.
* Build and maintain a positive working environment for all staff, fostering teamwork, continuous improvement and high‑quality service.
* Ensure residents receive an exceptional experience, meeting and exceeding their needs and expectations.
* Manage the food‑service operation, working with the executive chef on menu planning, preparation and delivery of high‑quality meals.
* Develop and manage a robust activities programme tailored to the interests and needs of residents, promoting health and wellness.
* Maintain an outstanding first‑impression experience.
* Ensure housekeeping operates efficiently, keeping high cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the facility.
Qualifications
* Experience in Hospitality Management.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Excellent people‑management skills, able to motivate and inspire staff.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Understanding of first‑impression principles to ensure a positive guest experience from arrival.
* Knowledge of food‑service operations, menu planning, preparation, nutrition and dietary requirements.
* Understanding of older people’s needs to deliver engaging, fun activities promoting health and wellness.
* Knowledge of housekeeping principles: cleaning, hygiene, infection control.
* Budget‑management skills, managing costs effectively while delivering high‑quality service.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £30,000 per annum. This permanent full‑time role is 40 hours a week (9 am‑5 pm). Benefits include:
