Sales Engineer

£51,000 + Bonus
Elevation Recruitment are delighted working in partnership with this Global Engineering business to recruit and International Sales Engineer.
This role will be office-based with regular travel into Europe to meet with customers.
Responsibilities
* Regular visits to customer’s premises to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
* Investigate current and future business opportunities within a designated sales area with both existing and potential customers
* Work closely with other companies within the Group to develop business within a designated sales area
* Maintain and develop industry and process knowledge
* Feedback information to be provided through the visit report system
* Process enquiries and sales orders for both contract and parts sales
* Respond to customer enquiries in relation to quotations, and orders
* Communicate with all internal departments to provide accurate information to customers
* Work as part of a team to achieve Company sales and margin targets
* Attend team meetings to contribute to the sales and marketing strategy of the Company
* Provide accurate information to assist with sales forecasting
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a sales environment is essential
* Engineering experience is essential at any education level
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of a business
* Good organiser and multi-tasking skills
* Computer literate and with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Good team player
* Able to work on own initiative and unsupervised
* Additional language skills would be beneficial
* This role will require the post holder to travel worldwide in the execution of their duties
