Electrical Supervisor – North West
Full time permanent position
Salary: Between £40k - £50k + Pension + Bupa + Car Allowance (Car review after 6 months)
Our client is a privately owned business who have won numerous awards for their work as electrical, mechanical and construction contractors. They mainly work as the principal contractor with in-house design, build and maintenance functions. Typical projects are large and varied, and include NHS, MOJ, MOD, education, blue light services and more.
As part of their ongoing development, they are seeking to strengthen the electrical team with a key new appointment – an Electrical Supervisor based in the Manchester area.
This opportunity is ideal for someone ambitious and driven, who wants to help build and shape a department, and forge their own long-term career path within a growing organisation. The role is perfect for someone who is already working in a supervisory role or for someone who is ready to take their first step in to supervising a team.
The successful candidate will take a hands-on approach – balancing supervisory and management responsibilities, with a little hands-on work if needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Working across a number of projects in the Greater Manchester area, ensure all installations meet current regulations and the highest quality standards.
* Maintain and monitor compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
* Deliver projects on time, ensuring standards and timescales are met or exceeded.
* Lead meetings with on-site staff, clients, and management teams.
* Complete testing, inspection, and certification of works.
What We’re Looking For

* C&G 18th Edition Electrical Installations qualification (essential).
* A strong understanding of various electrical systems, including high / low voltage, commercial, and industrial applications.
* Ideally C&G 2391 (Inspection & Testing). If you don't have 2391 our client will put you through your certification.
* Ideally SSSTS or higher certification.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Must live within a 25-mile radius of Bury (BL9).
