We are currently on the lookout for a Housing Officer to urgently join a Housing association in Northampton, you'll enjoy a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to balance office-based tasks with the flexibility of working from home. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, dedicated professional to manage a patch of general needs tenancies, ensure sustainable tenancies, and contribute to the creation of safe, thriving communities.
Key Responsibilities of a Housing Officer:
Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including sign-ups, tenancy inspections, and addressing anti-social behaviour (ASB).
Take swift and effective action on medium to high-level ASB cases, working closely with tenants, police, and other partner agencies.
Conduct regular estate inspections and home visits to maintain high standards and build strong relationships with tenants.
Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date, meeting regulatory and safeguarding standards.
What We'd Love to See from You:
Proven experience in tenancy or housing management, including ASB and tenancy enforcement.
Strong understanding of housing legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to manage a busy caseload with a customer-focused, solution-oriented approach.
