Job Summary:
The Logistics Manager (Terminal) will be responsible for managing all aspects of the logistics planning required to support a DCO submission for a new terminal expansion project at Heathrow Airport. Duties will include determining the size and location of various key facilities to support construction such as a Logistics Centre, a park:and:ride construction worker facility, a construction railhead facility, material stockpile and recycling facilities and lorry parking facilities. The logistics manager will also assist in the planning of construction site access and traffic management requirements and construction vehicle arrangements required to be put in place for the safe operation of the Terminal construction sites. Additional, activities will include the planning of material movements, the provision of facilities and batching plants and transportation arrangements required for the haulage of materials together with the planning and provision of laydown areas. Where required the Logistics Manger will also be required to support of the consultation process.

Providing constructability input to optimise construction sequencing and minimise disruption.

Developing and implementing comprehensive logistics strategies, including material handling, site access, traffic flow, and stakeholder coordination.

Managing logistics interfaces between construction teams, airport operations, and regulatory authorities to maintain safety and operational continuity.

Driving innovation and best practices in construction logistics planning, ensuring adherence to project schedules and cost targets.
