Hours: 6 – Sundays only

Role overview: We seek a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
Key responsibilities:
* Overseeing Sunday shop operations, including keyholder duties (training provided), and supporting volunteers.
* Assisting the team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and stock.
* Generating new income ideas with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Providing excellent customer service to supporters and customers.
* Maintaining shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance, and health and safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
Candidate requirements:
* Good customer service skills.
* Experience in lively, vibrant environments.
* Adaptability and teamwork skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, respecting work-life balance.
