We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the integrity of financial data using various accounting software. Responsibilities
* Manage and record all financial transactions accurately using accounting software Sage
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are up-to-date
* Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling
* Assist with accounts receivable and collections as needed
* Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review
* Maintain organised financial documentation and records in compliance with company policies
* Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within an organisation
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is essential
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
* Experience managing accounts payable and receivable processes
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively
* Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance are preferred but not mandatory
