Senior eCommerce Manager | 3-month contract | Rate: DOE | Inside IR35 | London | Immediate Start
A rapidly growing UK-based FMCG company is seeking an experienced ecommerce professional to lead and optimize their online trading and digital experience. The role is responsible for driving commercial performance, improving the user journey, and delivering strategic growth across domestic and international markets. It will be highly beneficial to have Shopify experience for this role and have worked in an overall eCommerce Management role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the ecommerce function, including trading performance, site optimisation, and strategic planning.
* Lead website trading operations: manage product launches, campaigns, content, and UX enhancements.
* Drive continuous improvement across the ecommerce experience (UX, checkout, mobile, search, etc.).
* Leverage data and insights to make informed commercial decisions and improve KPIs like LTV, CAC, AOV, and retention.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and CX teams to align campaigns and technical developments.
* Implement and manage A/B testing programs and foster a data-led experimentation culture.
* Coordinate with third-party partners and marketplaces for product launches and digital integration.
* Develop and share performance reports and insights across the business.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven track record in high-growth ecommerce/DTC environments (preferably in skincare, beauty, or health).
* Strong commercial acumen with ownership of P&L and performance metrics.
* Experienced with international DTC, subscriptions, and loyalty initiatives.
* Advanced knowledge of website optimisation, analytics, and conversion rate improvement.
* Skilled in tools such as Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, and testing platforms.
* Comfortable leading projects, managing external agencies, and briefing creative teams.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and acting on growth opportunities.
