Benefits: Electric company car, private health, pension and other benefitsThe role of the Pre-Contracts Manager - Commercial Office Fit Out will involve:
* Estimator position dealing with a range of commercial office fit out projects
* Manage client enquiries by arranging survey meetings, understanding project briefs, carrying out measured surveys, and maintaining clear communication throughout.
* Prepare accurate cost estimates by analysing survey information, obtaining supplier pricing, and producing detailed quotations and schedules of works.
* Coordinate design information including drawings, layouts, and visual materials to support client proposals and presentations.
* Maintain project and quotation records by logging enquiries, updating systems, revising estimates, and tracking project progress.
* Support project handover by finalising scope, costs, and documentation and ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team.
* Working on projects ranging in value up to £1m
The ideal applicant will be a Pre-Contracts Manager - Commercial Office Fit Out with
* Must have estimating experience within the construction industry
* Ideally have estimating Experince within fit out or related market sector such as: shopfitting, refurbishment, design & build, joinery or FF&E
* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Good team player who also works well individually
