Morgan Hunt is working with an East London-based Education Organisation that has an opportunity for a temporary HR Consultant (ER) on a contract basis. This role offers a daily rate of £ - £, working in the office with one day of remote work. The position focuses on ER support and advice across the organisation, with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities of the HR Consultant (ER) include:
* Leading ER casework, conducting investigations, meeting KPIs, and escalating to the HR Operations Manager as needed.
* Coaching, training, and developing management capabilities in ER processes.
* Guiding managers through procedures and suggesting continuous improvements.
* Proactively resolving queries, conducting research, and escalating or de-escalating responses appropriately.
* Supporting understanding of HR team roles while maintaining knowledge of general procedures and functions.
* Advocating for the HR service and promoting employee benefits, sharing positive organizational updates.
Person Specification for the HR Consultant:
* Significant senior-level HR advisory experience.
* Proven success in handling complex ER casework.
* Experience working in the Further Education sector.
* Experience in unionized environments.
* CIPD Level 7 in HR Management or equivalent.
* Chartered Member of CIPD or evidence of operating at this level with a desire to attain membership.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
* In-depth knowledge of Employment Law.
* Understanding of the operational workings of Further Education and inter-departmental linkages.
