A Small Repairs Lift Manager or Service Manager
oversees daily, minor lift maintenance, repairs, and service engineer rotas to ensure safety compliance (LOLER/PUWER) and high customer satisfaction. They manage service demand, technical performance, and troubleshoot faults, typically requiring strong technical lift knowledge, supervisory experience, and proficiency in maintenance software.

Key Responsibilities & Skills
* Operational Management: Directs daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules, prioritizing call-outs and minor repairs (e.g., sensor replacements, door adjustments).
* Team Leadership: Manages service engineers, covering training, performance reviews, and rota coordination.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensures all repairs meet health and safety regulations, specifically LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
* Customer Focus: Acts as the primary point of contact for client complaints, service issues, and relationship management.
* Technical Expertise: Requires knowledge of various lift types/manufacturers to diagnose faults and ensure "first-time fix" efficiency.

Typical Qualifications
* Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the lift industry.
* Education: NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent is often required.
