Synechron is looking for an experienced Lead QA to join our fast growing and sociable Belfast team in stunning offices located in the Paper Exchange. This is a senior role working on a long term programme of work for a tier-1 bank, delivering on a client-facing reporting solution bilt on a data-agnostic framework
Role:
* Analyse test cases thoroughly to ensure adequate coverage of requirements
* Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for requirement/user story validation, integration, regression, performance and usability testing
* Good understanding of project management principles and familiarity in different development & testing methodologies
* Build and deliver presentations to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly
* Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks and assignments
* ·Ability to coordinate with the stakeholders globally for testing activities
* Experience in handling mission critical requirements at short notice particularly in the regulatory space
* Handing end to end project lifecycle from requirements to testing & post production assistance
* Create, manage and own testing documentation in Confluence and JIRA project repositories
* Track QA metrics, estimate work and generate reports for management reporting
* Well versed with Zephyr in Jira for managing test plans, environment specific test cycles and strategies for enterprise applications
Experience:
* 8+ years of experience in automation testing with Hands on experience in Selenium & Cucumber
* Hands on expertise in
manual and automation testing preferable in banking and financial domain
* Hands on experience in API & DB automation
* Create automation test plans, test cases, scenarios, ensuring quality assurance for software development projects in various stages & managing process control
* QA Experience in defining, designing & executing test cases
* Expertise in Automation hybrid, keyword-driven, data-driven, behavior driven automation frameworks
* Expert
SQL /NoSQL skills
* Experience working with Jenkins, UDeploy, BitBucket, JIRA, TeamCity, SonarCube
