The Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences is seeking to appoint to the post of School and Programme Administrator. The overall purpose of the post is to provide a high level of administrative support for staff and students, service courses/programmes, committees, meetings and events and to provide an excellent level of customer service.
You will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent and be required to demonstrate evidence of good office and administrative experience, with sound knowledge of microsoft office applications and high standards of literacy and numeracy. Excellent communication skills and experience of using a variety of appropriate media is a prerequisite of the post.
Experience of working in UK Higher Education is desirable. Knowledge of SITS and e:Vision or similar student records system is essential as is dealing with confidential information with discretion and planning, organising and taking minutes of meetings.
Personal attributes required include a proactive and professional approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good organisational capabilities, ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to work under pressure. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with the ability to work independently and under their own initiative and a commitment to working collaboratively within a diverse team.
