We are seeking an exceptional SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil who needs calm, consistency, and connection to thrive.
This is not a routine TA role. This is a role for someone who truly gets children — especially those whose behaviour tells a story.
About the Role:
You will work closely with a child with social, emotional and mental health needs, providing trauma-informed, relational support throughout the school day. The pupil needs an adult who can co-regulate, set clear boundaries with warmth, and remain steady even on challenging days.

Has experience supporting children with.
SEMH, trauma, anxiety, or behaviour needs.
Is trauma-informed and/or ELSA trained.
Can remain calm, patient and emotionally attuned under pressure.
Understands that behaviour is communication.
Builds strong, trusting relationships with children.
Is reflective, resilient, and committed to safeguarding.
Works collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
