Legal Secretary - Private Client

My client, a leading law firm, are recruiting for a Private Secretary Legal Secretary to join their friendly and supportive Marlborough office.
Within the role you will be responsible for providing the Private Client department with a high quality administrative support and legal secretary service. You will also engage with the team and clients to build and develop strong working relationships.
Duties include:
- Managing Fee Earner’s diary
- Preparing files for billing
- Taking incoming calls
- Typing of correspondence, photocopying, filing and opening new files.
- Dealing with client’s matters where appropriate
* Provision of a professional & friendly service to clients
* Preparation of straightforward legal documents
* Commitment to the LEXCEL standards
* Being familiar with the basic requirements of the Solicitors Accounts Rules which affect the receipt and payment into the bank of cheques and the accounting of clients’ monies.
Skills and experience required:
* Proven experience of Legal Secretary work, ideally in undertaking Private Client legal secretary work
* To have the ability to remain calm, polite and focused when dealing with different situations
* To have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Great attention to detail
* To present in a professional manner
