Hours: 4 – 6 hours per week, plus 1 day a month on-site.

The Vestacare Stadium is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join the Regulatory Services Team and support matters related to Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Licensing, Environmental Protection and Insurance Compliance. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is looking to develop experience in this area alongside their studies or someone with valued experience who wants to get involved with a football club and give back to the community.
Responsibilities
The Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for:
* Leading our relationship with our Health & Safety Consultants
* Ensuring that the club is compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations
* Conducting risk assessments
* Record, investigate, and report any accidents, incidents, or near misses.
* Producing documents and policies
* Implementing measures to ensure compliance with regulations
* Ensuring compliance with environmental protection and insurance regulations
* Working closely with other departments to ensure regulatory compliance across the club
* Liaising with external agencies and suppliers
