We’re working with a friendly secondary school in Redcar looking for a Music Teacher who can inspire students to explore their musical talents. Whether it’s performing, composing, or understanding the story behind the music, the school wants someone who can make lessons engaging and enjoyable.
If you enjoy helping students find their voice, pick up an instrument, or simply appreciate music in a new way, this could be the perfect role for you.
What you’ll be doing
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
* Delivering engaging lessons covering performance, composition, and music theory
* Encouraging students to build confidence through creativity and collaboration
* Supporting extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school performances where possible
What the school is looking for
* UK classroom experience teaching Music in a secondary setting
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for music education
* Confident classroom management and the ability to engage learners of all abilities
Compliance essentials
* DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
* Right to work in the UK
