Role Overview
We are looking to grow our field-based team with professionals who have a proven track record in delivering planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance activities, and / or installation work on a wide range of Air Conditioning, HVAC, and Refrigeration equipment. These roles are primarily mobile and will be based predominantly in Northern Ireland, with occasional travel across the UK and Ireland as required.
What you'll do
The following reflects the main tasks associated with your role and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:
carry out planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance activities, and / or installation work on a wide range of Air Conditioning, HVAC, and Refrigeration equipment.
carry out fault finding across all types of Air Conditioning, HVAC, and Refrigeration systems.
ensure all works are delivered to an acceptable quality standard, safely, on time and to budget.
update company management information systems and maintain accurate records for all works.
attend training courses such as Health and Safety, PASMA, IPAF and Manufacturer Training.
take part in mentoring and training any apprentices or trainees within the business.
take part in the weekly on call rota and attend emergency call outs as necessary.
be available for overtime and working away from home from time to time.
always represent the company in a competent and professional manner.
Any other duties within the skillset of the individual.
What you'll bring
As an Air Conditioning / HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer your main skills and experience should include:
Time served tradesman with a minimum of two years post apprenticeship experience.
NVQ Level 2 & 3 Refrigeration / Air Conditioning preferred and / or C&G 2079 F Gas Category 1 Certificate.
The ability to obtain security clearances for high security premises such as SC, CTC, Enhanced Disclosure Access NI etc.
A neat and tidy manner both with personal presentation and delivery of work.
Flexible regarding travel and a clean driving licence.
