Experience required…
Essential:
8. UK experience of working on public, private or third sector drainage design projects.
9. Competency using UK standards such as DRMB, TSRGD, Manual for Street, MCHW, CDM and local authority standards.
10. Ability to design all aspects of drainage from concept to detailed design.
11. Experience of drainage design interfaces (e.g. highways, rail, geotechnical, environmental, structural etc.)
12. Ability to prepare reports and specifications and to collect and assimilate other data and statistics necessary for the preparation of progress and technical reports.
13. Ability to work unsupervised within your area of specialism (at the appropriate level)
14. Ability to lead project teams through delegation and management, mentoring junior staff.
15. Willingness to travel within the region if required
16. A relevant qualification in an Engineering/Technical discipline or equivalent experience in the UK
17. Achieved or working towards professional membership/accreditation with an industry recognised Professional Body
18. The legal right to work in the UK
Desirable:
19. Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling software such as Micro Drainage.
20. Working knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil3D or similar.
21. Familiarity with 3D design tools and BIM.
22. Experienced in S278, S38, S104 and S106 design and applications.
23. A full UK driving licence
