Job Title: Aspiring Teacher- Teaching Assistant
Location: Boston
Salary: £90 - £115 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full time or part time
Are you a passionate graduate or a current university student looking to kick-start your journey in education?
GSL Education Lincolnshire is seeking dedicated individuals to join a supportive and thriving school community in Boston as an Aspiring Teacher- to work as Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
* Work with small groups or individual students to provide targeted academic support
* Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
* Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation and marking
* Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and enrichment programs
* Collaborate with teachers, teaching assistants and school leaders
Requirements
* A degree or currently studying at university
* A genuine passion for education and a desire to become a teacher
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence to work with children and young people of different abilities
* A commitment to learning and professional development
* Previous experience working with children (voluntary or paid) is desirable but not essential
