Our Client a Film & Production Organisations seeks an experienced Part Time Financial Accountant to join the business on a temporary basis, 3 days per week. The Financial Accountant would be a "hands on" individual who ideally has previous experience in the film/entertainment industry, scripted background. The successful candidate would be highly organised, have a good grasp of financial accounts, have the ability to consolidate multiple subsidiaries as well as preparing monthly management accounts.
Duties of the Financial Accountant include:
 1. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly financial records, including balance sheet and profit and loss.
 2. Month end for subsidiary businesses
 3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
 4. Prepare monthly management accounts.
 5. Consolidate multiple subsidiaries to a statutory level.
 6. Trial balance preparation, analysis and posting journals.
 7. Support cashflow forecasting.
 8. Production accounts and recharging
 9. Balance sheet reconciliation
 10. Support for VAT returns
 11. Implement controls & procedures to streamline accounts.
 12. Producing events weekly comparisons (Actual vs forecast results)
 13. Processing invoices & expenses
 14. Supporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks and production of general financial information
Requirements of the Financial Accountant include:
 15. Film/Drama accountancy background advantageous.
 16. Strong attention to detail
 17. Highly organised
 18. Excellent communication skills
 19. Qualified by experience.
 20. Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central is advantageous however not essential.
