Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the reporting function of one Business Unit within the NM Group, working closely with the Business Unit Head and providing line management to a team of Finance Officers and Management Accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review of monthly management accounts for all companies within the assigned Business Unit, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the trial balance.
* Preparation of monthly consolidated Business Unit reports and analysis for the Business Unit Head and senior management.
* Preparation of monthly cashflow projections.
* Collaborate with key business stakeholders to identify cost efficiencies and improvements.
* Work with the Business Unit Head to produce annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
* Review quarterly submission of accounts to the parent company.
* Prepare annual statutory reports.
* Calculate and prepare annual tax reports.
* Review monthly/quarterly VAT reports.
* Manage and support direct reports, including annual appraisals.
* Participate in external audit processes.
* Assist senior management with ad hoc requests, projects, reports, and research.
* Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Identify and suggest process improvements.
* Perform other relevant duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

* Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CA, ACA).
* Experience in a busy corporate environment overseeing multiple companies.
* Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of financial regulation and legislation.
* Management and leadership experience.
* Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize, and meet strict deadlines.
* Commercial and business awareness.
* High numeracy and technical skills.
* Advanced MS Excel skills.
