Job Summary
Collaborate with facility leadership and the medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection control plan. Manage antibiotic stewardship, isolation procedures, Covid prevention, employee health, vaccination programs, surveillance of infections, outbreak monitoring, and communication regarding transmission-based precautions. Conduct audits, risk assessments, and serve on the QAPI committee.
Qualifications
* Graduate of accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
* Required: experience in Infection Prevention in a skilled nursing facility, current Missouri nursing license, CPR/AED certification, and recent clinical nursing experience
* Desirable: Infection Prevention certification
* Skills: time management, computer proficiency, communication, physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents
* Other: good organizational and critical thinking skills, discretion, and understanding of geriatric needs
Additional Information
Pay range: $63,943 - $106,407 annually.
