We are looking to appoint a dynamic and adaptable teacher to teach Maths (Full Time - 5 days per week) at our KS4 Centre in Hoddesdon teaching year 10 - 11 pupils, who has a confident understanding of the curriculum and excellent subject knowledge. The Role As our Maths Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4. Support pupils with a range of social, emotional and behavioural needs. Use creative and practical approaches to make Maths accessible, relevant and enjoyable. Build strong, trusting relationships that encourage pupils to re-engage with learning. Work collaboratively with a specialist team of teachers, support staff and external professionals. Contribute to personalised learning plans and track pupil progress effectively. About You We’re looking for someone who is: A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS). We encourage and welcome applications from ECT’s. Passionate about supporting vulnerable or disengaged learners. Skilled at adapting lessons to meet diverse needs and abilities. Calm, patient, empathetic and consistent in approach. Positive, solution-focused and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential. Experience working in alternative provision, PRU/ESC, SEN or SEMH settings is desirable but not essential - your attitude, flexibility and commitment matter most.
