Executive Assistant to CEO

Tree Law is a growing specialist law firm operating across England and Wales. As we scale, we are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO directly.
This is not a general administrative or virtual assistant role. We are looking for a professional who has previously operated as an Executive Assistant to a CEO, Founder, Managing Partner or senior executive in a professional services or scaling business environment.
About the Role
You will work directly with the CEO to protect time, manage priorities and reduce cognitive load. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role requiring discretion, sound judgement and confidence.
The successful candidate will be embedded in the rhythm of the business and play a key role in enabling strategic focus.
Key Responsibilities
Full inbox management and filtration
Senior-level diary management and prioritisation
Gatekeeping and boundary management
Preparing briefs and documentation for meetings
Drafting and managing executive correspondence
Coordinating key internal and external meetings
Supporting business development and speaking commitments
Following up on actions and ensuring accountability
Managing confidential information with discretion
Essential Experience
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant to a CEO, Founder or senior executive
Demonstrable experience managing high-volume inboxes and complex diaries
Experience operating in a fast-paced or scaling environment
Strong judgement and ability to prioritise independently
Confidence in pushing back and managing stakeholder expectations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Applications without prior senior-level EA experience will not be considered.
