Job Description
3. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
4. Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
5. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
6. Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
8. Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to improve processes.
9. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
10. Manage financial data entry and maintain organised records.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
11. Minimum 3+ years' experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment finance
12. CIMA or ACCA part‑qualified, with clear progression underway
13. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
14. Strong Excel capability and confidence with financial systems
15. Solid understanding of core accounting principles
16. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
