Specialist Teaching Assistant – EAL / ELSA / Trauma-Informed / Transition Support
Do you have experience supporting pupils through emotional, social, or language challenges? We’re seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant who can provide targeted support to help children thrive in school.
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant with a specialist focus such as:
o EAL (English as an Additional Language) support
o ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) interventions
o Trauma-informed approaches
o School transition support for vulnerable pupils
* Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and provide tailored interventions.
* Experience supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs.
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, proactive approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
