Providing and coordinating the technical service support function for CCTV category. Reviewing our current CCTV maintenance model to find opportunities for improvement, and exploring creative methods to optimize efficiency and availability. Ensuring comprehensive technical comprehension and supervision of traditional and IP CCTV systems, encompassing configuration, fault diagnosis, and integration with network infrastructure (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs). Collaborating with IT and networking collaborators to integrate CCTV systems into Tesco’s secure network to ensure ongoing connectivity for remote monitoring operations. Supporting the internal specialist CCTV field team to respond to any future business-led initiatives, ensuring capability to provide effective continued service support. Additional responsibilities including Cash Conveyance & Checkout systems technical support. Establishing effective relationships with wider teams, colleagues and supporting contractors, communicating & managing expectations where necessary. Collaborating with team members and external partners to improve and implement strategies. Resolving blockers to success through clear communication and collaboration with peers and senior stakeholders. Keeping up to date with any industry & legislative changes, and implementing change to process if required, passing on this information and knowledge to wider teams. Oversight and understanding of technical issues highlighted by “field” based colleagues/contractors, developing resolutions, delivering “best practise”, implementing change if needed to deliver estate wide solutions. Site visits as required in line with technical categories, regarding incidents/investigations/information gathering. Proficiently guiding own progress and advancement without focusing on specific measurements. Being an essential part of our technical management team, you will display keenness for maintaining high standards. With prior experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction domains, you will be proficient in using IT equipment, including proficient use of Microsoft 365.
