We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic commercial team, working on a flagship project at HMP Glasgow, located just north of Glasgow city. This is your chance to play a pivotal role in delivering a major project valued at over £200M, focusing on the innovative "house block" elements of the campus, which includes five buildings utilizing Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) methodology.

Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor, you will:
* Organize the division of project work into component work packages for procurement.
* Negotiate with the sub-contractor supply chain to achieve the best value.
* Manage applications for payment from sub-contractors.
* Prepare information for client payment applications.
* Monitor and measure actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure through Cost Value Reconciliation Reports (CVR).
* Prepare final accounts.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Hold a degree (or equivalent) qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Have substantial quantity surveying experience at a senior level on large construction projects within a main contractor environment.
* Possess a solid understanding of SBCC, NEC, and JCT contract conditions.
* Are comfortable engaging with client representatives, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders.
* Can mentor and oversee junior commercial staff.
* Hold a full UK Driving License.
