Job Summary
We are seeking a permanent, experienced ESOL Curriculum Manager to lead and manage the ESOL curriculum area, ensuring the delivery of high quality adult and community learning across Haringey Learns. The role has strategic and operational responsibility for developing and delivering an innovative, inclusive and quality assured ESOL curriculum that meets local need while contributing to Haringey Council priorities and regional and national funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Principal, Quality Manager and management team, you will lead on curriculum planning, funding compliance, performance management and continuous quality improvement in line with the Education Inspection Framework. You will manage and develop a team of tutors, embed employability, digital skills and fundamental values across the offer, and support the service's ambition to move from good to outstanding, including expanding community based delivery across the borough. Haringey Learns is the post 19 adult and community education provider for Haringey Council. We deliver predominantly from Wood Green but are actively working on taking adult education to the residents in the community. We are committed to play a key role in ensuring Haringey residents are offered high quality education which leads to good work and skills and is progressive, widens participation and fundamentally responds to local needs.
Key Qualifications
You will be an experienced curriculum leader with significant expertise in ESOL provision within adult and community education or the FE sector, and a strong understanding of AEB funded delivery, funding compliance and performance management. You will bring a clear understanding of the Education Inspection Framework and quality assurance processes, alongside the ability to lead curriculum design that supports progression into employment, further learning and active citizenship.
