The successful Geography Teacher will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the diversity of our planet and the interactions between people and places. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, covering both physical and human geography. Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography examinations, ensuring a strong understanding of key geographical concepts and skills. Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity about the world and its challenges. Assess and monitor student progress in geography, providing clear and constructive feedback as a Geography Teacher. Contribute to the ongoing development of the geography curriculum and the creation of engaging resources, including fieldwork opportunities. Encourage student participation in geographical investigations and discussions about global issues. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Geography. Demonstrated experience in teaching Geography at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). A strong and comprehensive knowledge of geographical concepts, processes, and contemporary issues. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of making geography relevant and engaging as a Geography Teacher.
