The role
As a Supplier, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be working at the heart of supply operations to manage receipts, issues, and amendments with exceptional attention to detail, supporting store-based functions that ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness in a mission-critical environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to customer demands and enquiries, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
* Investigate and compile detailed discrepancy reports, maintaining accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
* Manage stock replenishment and conduct regular stock takes, ensuring inventory levels are maintained and discrepancies are resolved.
* Coordinate internal site deliveries and collections, while providing efficient counter service and securely packing items for dispatch.
* Collate and process all auditable vouchers generated in support of logistics operations, ensuring timely progression to maintain accurate material accounts.
This role is full time working 36 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Shawbury, Shropshire.
Essential experience of the Supplier:
* Proven ability to communicate effectively, with strong verbal and interpersonal skills demonstrated in previous roles.
* Advanced IT proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, applied in administrative positions requiring exceptional organisational skills and proactive problem-solving.
* Skilled in producing detailed documentation analysis and maintaining accurate data records to support operational efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications for the Supplier:
Strong proficiency in Mathematics and English, ensuring accuracy in numerical tasks and clarity in written communication.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (DBS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
