The Role
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role will include:
Working with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Supporting subject-specific tasks, including experiments, discussions, and project work
Helping manage classroom routines and student behaviour
Assisting in the preparation of resources and learning materials
Encouraging student participation and boosting motivation and confidence
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a graduate who:
Holds a 2:1 degree or above in any subject (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages)
Has experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work, volunteering)
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about education
Is considering a future in teaching, educational outreach, or related fields
