Practice Nurse – Bognor Regis (24–28 hours per week) A highly regarded, progressive, and purpose-built training practice in Bognor Regis is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse to join its friendly and supportive clinical team. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, HCAs, and Allied Health Professionals. The role will involve a varied range of nursing duties, including chronic disease management, cytology, immunisations, wound care, and health promotion clinics. The post-holder will also have opportunities to take part in quality improvement projects and to contribute ideas for enhancing patient services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care in line with evidence-based best practice. Manage long-term conditions such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, and hypertension. Undertake treatment room duties including wound care, cervical cytology, and vaccinations. Provide lifestyle advice and health promotion to support patient wellbeing. Contribute to clinical audits, infection control, and ongoing service development. Collaborate effectively with the wider practice team to ensure holistic patient care. The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a registered nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration. Have experience in a general practice or primary care setting (although training can be provided for the right candidate). Be competent in chronic disease management, cytology, and immunisations (or willing to develop these skills). Have strong communication and organisational skills with a commitment to teamwork. Be proactive, adaptable, and motivated to engage in continued professional development.
