The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
As an SEN Teaching Assistant working through Academics, you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
* Assist in adapting learning materials and approaches to meet individual needs.
* Promote independence, confidence, and social skills.
* Support teachers in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Help manage behaviour in a consistent and supportive way.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.
About You
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN and/or 1:1 support (preferred but not essential).
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A proactive attitude and passion for helping children overcome learning barriers.
* Level 2/3 qualifications in Education or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
