Home County Retail Limited is a friendly and successful business which has been trading for more than 13 years. Initially we supplied and fitted blinds and shutters across the Surrey area, however, over the past 2 years, we have expanded our area to cover Hampshire and Berkshire and so are looking for a full-time installer to assist our friendly team.
We are looking for a motivated fitter to offer superb customer service and fit our lovely blinds & shutters to the highest standard. Work will be split between measuring (20%) and installing our made to measure products (80%).

A Typical Day Includes:
* Our office team will arrange your days - saving you the hassle
* Visiting our client locations to fit blinds/shutters to a high standard
* Tidying up and ensuring no rubbish is left behind
* Checklist to be Completed with the Customer along with a Demonstration of the Product
* Photographing completed jobs on company mobile phone
* Clearly communicating any issues/follow-up with the office team
* Return to base to Off-Load Any Rubbish
* Help Mark Off and Organise Deliveries, keeping the fitting area clean and tidy.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience or a proven carpentry/joinery background desired however not essential. Full training will be provided.
* Have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to try to resolve any issues using their own initiative
* Be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
* Accuracy in measuring and recording results
* Exceptional attention to detail providing quality workmanship on all fits and respect for clients property
* Excellent Communication and have a polite and courteous manner with clients and colleagues
* Proactive ability to work on own initiative and keep timescales
* Able to Work Solo or as Part of a team and contribute to improving efficiency and quality.
* Able to use an iPad or Tablet
* Full Clean UK Driving License (Manual) with 3 Years experience
Additional Details
* Salary – competitive with the ability to earn bonuses on completion of a 90-day probationary period.
* Full time Monday – Saturday, 40 hours per week (5 days in 7 – 9:00am – 6:00pm)
* 1 Saturday Off a Month
* 24 days holiday pro rata, with the opportunity to increase to 28 days based on length of service. No fitting between Christmas and New Year
* Van with a fuel card is provided after training completed.
