Role Overview
The business is seeking an organised individual to fulfil the role of E-commerce Assistant. The position supports the smooth operation of the brand's online stores, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate product management, and a seamless user experience. This role also assists with sample management, reporting, and general administrative tasks to support the e-commerce and marketing teams.
Customer Service:
* Respond to customer inquiries via email, social media, and phone
in a professional and friendly manner.
* Assist with order management, returns, and resolving customer issues efficiently.
E-commerce:
* Support the daily management of 2+ e-commerce websites
, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
* Maintain visual merchandising
across the sites, identifying opportunities to increase conversion and enhance the front-end aesthetic.
* Conduct daily and weekly site checks
, identifying and resolving onsite issues promptly.
* Assist with implementing organic SEO strategies
to elevate product and website information.
* Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
* Upload visuals, blogs, collection pages, and other key website content
.
* Ensure product imagery is up to date
, reflecting the most recent launches.
* Assist with inbound/outbound samples, gifting, and event logistics.
* Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support key deadlines and projects.
Office Administration:
* Keep the office tidy and manage stationery inventory.
* Managing the waste disposal and recycling
* Manage the correspondence with the building management
* Assist team with IT issues with the 3rd party IT provider
* Manage the courier budget associated with the various dpts in the team.
* Assist with collaborations and special projects to
ensure seamless execution aligned with brand standards.
Qualifications
* 1+ years of experience in an e‑commerce role
* Experience using CMS platforms (Shopify) is preferrable but not necessary
* Highly organised with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
* Able to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly across teams.
* A keen interest in online retail and DTC brand growth.
* Highly personable and able to form great working relationships
* Ability to work independently and use your initiative
