RATES: HGV Class 1 Weekend Shunter
Pre-Parity (First 12 Weeks)
* Days (03:00 14:59): £15.80 per hour
* Nights (15:00 02:59): £17.29 per hour
Enhanced Rates:
* Bank Holidays: up to £25.94 per hour
* Super Weekend: up to £34.58 per hour
Parity (After 12 Weeks)
* Days: £16.59 per hour
* Nights: £18.07 per hour
Overtime (after 40 hours):
* Days: £24.87 per hour
* Nights: £27.12 per hour
Premium Rates:
* Bank Holidays: up to £45.19 per hour
* Super Weekend: up to £36.15 per hour

HG Recruitment are hiring a CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER (SHUNTER WEEKENDS) for a long-term, high-value client in the Plymouth area. APPLY NOW
This is a part-time weekend shunting role, supporting yard operations at a busy parcel depot.
* Saturday: Approx. 8 hours
* Sunday: Approx. 4 hours
You will be responsible for moving trailers within the yard and supporting the smooth running of depot operations.
DUTIES:
* Shunting trailers safely within the yard
* Positioning vehicles onto loading bays
* Supporting loading/unloading operations
* Conducting vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Maintaining site safety at all times
* Working closely with transport and warehouse teams

Requirements:
* HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Valid Digi Tacho & CPC cards
* Maximum 6 points (minor endorsements only)
* Previous shunting experience preferred
* Strong understanding of yard safety
* Reliable and punctual
* Flexible attitude and good communication skills
