Position: Law Reporter
If you have been called to the bar or are a qualified solicitor seeking a change of pace, consider becoming a valued law reporter for a prestigious legal publisher with an international readership. You will attend hearings, record notes on significant judgements, summaries, and rulings, and liaise with management regarding case publication and resource allocation.
Your responsibilities include proofreading, editing, and formatting judgements in-house style, and communicating with judges and court staff for publication approvals.
Requirements:
1. Qualified solicitor or called to the bar (pupillage not essential)
2. Exceptional written and communication skills
3. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
4. Understanding of legal judgements and concise communication skills
