Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: South East England, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £80 - £90 Per day Job Description: Job Duties: Provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings Work closely with teachers to implement individualised education plans for students Assist with classroom management and student behaviour Help students develop social and communication skills Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and performance Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Experience working with children or individuals with SEN Understanding of SEN strategies and support techniques Education: Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: Prior experience working in a school or educational setting Experience implementing educational plans for students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Additional training in SEN support or related field Working Conditions: Work primarily in a classroom setting Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and external professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
