The role will initially be on a 12-month fixed-term contract with the view to be made permanent in the future. The role This firm are looking for a creative artworker to join a design team of three within the wider marketing and business development department. The role is varied and ideal for a generalist designer/artworker with experience working in a corporate/professional services firm. This new role will be an initial 12 month contract but with the view to be made permanent at the end of the 12 months.Th salary will be up to £47,000 per annum and offers two days a week working from home, and the other 3 in their London office situated in the City. The core responsibilities will be to create and edit branded external marketing materials and internal communications across print and digital. Taking on day-to-day design requests with differing deadlines and priorities including using InDesign to edit a pitch document before sending it to print, switching to Canva to create a social media post for LinkedIn before moving to PowerPoint to edit a slide deck for a client training session.As well as helping monitor the design team inbox, record and edit podcasts (with support to begin with if this is new) and produce new and edit existing digital experiences. This role requires strong layout skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and a collaborative can-do attitude. Strong organisation and time management skills are essential. Core responsibilities create and edit on-brand marketing materials, primarily using InDesign, like pitch documents, brochures, and standard marketing editorial content - mostly using existing templates; create and edit on-brand digital assets for websites, email marketing, and social media; source on-brand images and basic image editing/resizing; podcast recording (primarily in Zoom) and editing (Adobe Audition) support can be provided flexibility to support other areas, such as helping the digital team to update our website or post on social media. Desirable skills and experience include recording and editing podcasts, primarily in Zoom and Adobe Audition; editing video, primarily in Adobe Premier Pro; creating and editing social media artwork in Canva; creating and editing digital experiences and mini sites in Ceros; experience in digital layout applications such as Adobe XD and/or Figma (which we plan to introduce in the next 12-months); and website content editing using Umbraco CMS.
